Skills that Kills

Last weekend, I went with my class on a pretty big field trip. We took a six hour bus ride to our destination, the place the SkillsUSA competition was. We were guided by a wise sorcerer by the name of 7-watts. After our arrival, a few of us classmates got together and "listened to some smooth jazz." Smooth Jazz always calms me down and relaxes my nerves. We arrived too late to attend the opening ceremony, and as a result we decided to make a trip to Waffle House, mmmmmmmmm waffles. The next morning, we arose from our slumber with our bellies weighed down with waffles. 7-Watts ported us to the competition and SkillsUSA had begun. I set up the computer we brought for me to use during my section of the battle. I had to draw a machine vise and all the pieces for it in AutoCAD. I didn't finish the vise but I'm very proud of what I did accomplish. Even though I didn't win anything, I beat my expectations and did better than I had ever imagined. After SkillsUSA we all came back to the hotel to take it easy and "listen to some smooth jazz." Overall, it was a very jazzy weekend.
